What are you studying?
Double major in Animal Science and Pathobiology, minor in Molecular and Cell Biology
Hometown?
Cheshire, CT
What on-campus activities/organizations are you involved in?
Pre-Vet Club, played OOzeball
What is your favorite “hidden” spot on campus?
It’s not hidden to animal science majors, but many of us like the picnic tables near horse unit II.
What has your day-to-day been like since virtual classes and social distancing were introduced?
I try to somewhat follow the schedule I had while at UConn, but I need to balance it with helping my brother with his online school work as well.
If everything could go back to normal for one hour today, what would you use that time for?
I would spend it with my friends that I won’t get to see as much after graduation.
What are your plans for after graduation?
I will be attending veterinary school in the Fall of 2020 at Long Island University.
Where do you see yourself in five years?
Hopefully in a pathology residency back at UConn!
If you could thank one person for their help throughout your time at UConn, who would it be and what would you say?
I am always thankful for Dr. Zinn and his unwavering support, starting from orientation and lasting all the way to this day. I can’t thank him enough for all of the “whine sessions” we had where I was able to have some guidance any type of problem/dilemma.
What’s a piece of advice you’d like to share with the Class of 2024?
Find a group of people that you can rely on for anything. Having a close knit support group to laugh with and struggle through classes with makes the academic aspect of college MUCH more manageable. Find people who are also going to motivate you to be the best version of yourself in and out of the classroom.
