UConn Center for Career Development
Applying for your dream job or graduate program? We encourage you to connect with the Center for Career Development before you submit that application or complete an interview. You can practice interviewing, receive résumé help, find job openings, meet employers at career fairs, learn from speakers, and so much more.
Nutmeg Publishing
Did you know that the Nutmeg Yearbook has been published since 1915? Nutmeg Publishing, a Tier-III student organization, creates the annual yearbook. Graduate fee-paying Storrs seniors receive a free copy; these graduates do not need to order yearbooks, as they will automatically receive one to their permanent addresses listed in Student Admin. (Regional campus graduates, Ratcliffe Hicks graduates, non-Bachelor’s degree graduates, and Bachelor of General Studies graduates do not pay the Storrs-based student activity fee that funds the yearbook and will not receive a copy.)
UConn Alumni
Senior year is a special one because you can still partake in all of the wonderful Husky traditions while also starting to dip your toes into alumni life. The Office of Alumni Relations, a department of the UConn Foundation, offers hundreds of exciting, informative, and unique events each year to UConn’s huge alumni network. You are welcome to begin attending events at any time! If you’re moving to a new city and need some tips, a Welcome to the Neighborhood series is held each fall for just that reason. Or, if you’re looking to meet an alum with your major or in your field, reach out anytime. Check out the website or follow @UConnAlumni on social media.
UConn Student Alumni Association (SAA)
Need inspiration for your UConn bucket list? SAA creates the annual 81 Things to Do Before You Gradate bucket list, and there are currently iterations for the Storrs, Hartford, and Stamford campuses. SAA also hosts many events focused on campus traditions (Jonathan’s Birthday in the fall, OOzeball in the spring, and more) and alumni networking. You’re welcome to attend an event or join as a member at anytime.
