Senior Spotlight: Brenna McNamee ’19

    • American Sign Language and Deaf Studies
  • Where are you from?
    • North Attleboro, MA
  • What on-campus activities/organizations are you involved in?
    • Morale/ Campus Affairs Committee for HuskyTHON, CPR coordinator for PAPCA (the pre-PA club), member of Sigma Theta Alpha (pre-health professional co-ed fraternity), and I will be going on a medical brigade to Ghana with Global Brigades this January; I also do research in the UConn Language and Brain lab
  • Any fun facts?
    • I studied abroad in Glasgow, Scotland this past spring and had the opportunity to travel to 16 countries while in Europe; I also currently work as an EMT
  • Why do you want to be featured?
    • These last 4 years at UConn have been filled with a whirlwind of experiences that I never imagined possible! UConn has really shaped me into the person I am today and I will deeply miss my second home when I graduate next spring
  • Plans after graduation?
    • I’m hoping to apply to PA programs in the coming few years to eventually become a PA most likely in trauma surgery
